Our Story
We knew we wanted to be doctors before we ever met at Abilene Christian University. Being pre-med was something we had in common — but our faith was what connected us.

The Journey
We both earned our Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University, and a first trip to Honduras left us in love with its people. Jared went on to board-certify in Pediatrics, Jenny in Family Medicine with a diploma in Tropical Medicine. Then, for nearly a decade, Africa became home — a rural clinic in Malawi that grew into a maternity hospital, faculty work training residents in Kenya, and medical education and discipleship back in Malawi. We were doing our dream job while serving Jesus.

A season in Birmingham followed, practicing and teaching at an underserved safety-net clinic. But after a short trip back to Malawi in 2023, we knew God wasn’t finished with our work overseas — and that He was calling us back to where our journey began: Latin America.
In 2025, our family joined a team in rural Honduras to help build Hospital Yojoa, a teaching mission hospital. We’re honored to serve alongside Christian physicians who share our heart for healing, teaching, and ministering to God’s people.
